It's that time of year to bust out the warm sunny weather gear. What's the right way to wear the shorts? Depends really- like anything else, work with the body you have.
Here are some buying guide tips;
Keep shorts an inch or two above the knees. Chubbies are pushin the fad of short shorts, but not everyone can pull that off. The taller you are, stick with around one inch above the knee. Shorter? Go for two inches. It takes a nice pair of legs to rock the short shorts and make them look good, so if you have muscle- go for it!
Make sure you get the right fabric. If it has a lot of polyester, it may not breath well. Being 90 degrees out, you probably want your shorts to keep you cool as possible right? Go with natural fibers- cotton and linen are great options.
Your shorts don't have to be super tailored and trim. Just make sure they aren't too large and bulky, and without the large cargo pockets. Keep the clean lines!
Don't spend too much money on shorts- $30 shorts are pretty much the same as $100 shorts. That being said, buy smart. H&M has some good ones I've noticed, but whatever you do...save money here to put elsewhere.
Cuff or not to cuff the bottom? Typically the cuff bottom looks better on skinnier legs, it helps add some visual bulk to them. If you are shorter and stockier already, it will look better on you to do straight bottoms.
